Pictured is a sculpture of a wild person carrying a shield on The Marchena Door in the gardens of the Royal Alcazar in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. The door was constructed in 1492 on the design of the artist Juan Guas. It was reformed in 1540 and sculptures of wild people carrying shields with heraldic arms were added. The sculptor was Esteban Jamete.
