Sea Anemones at Toronto Aquarium #237881241
Description
Colorful sea anemones got their name from the similar looking flowering plant, the anemones. The ones in the sea though, are actually a marine predatory animal of the order Actiniaria. The have stingers to paralyze their prey. They are very long-lived and can be around for 60 to 80 years. They are seen here in captivity at the Ripley`s Aquarium of Canada in Toronto, Ontario, just a few feet away from the landmark building of Canada`s largest city, the tall CN Tower.
