Description
The Nyatapola temple is dedicated to the Tantric Goddess Siddhi Lakshmi, the ancestral deity of the Malla royal family and dominates the skyline of Bhaktapur, a medieval city in the east corner of the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, about 13km from the capital city, Kathmandu. UNESCO inscribed Bhaktapur as a World Heritage Site since 1979. It survived the 2015 Nepal earthquake.
