Description
Pictured is a closeup view of detail of the baroque main altarpiece in the Chapel of San Juan de Letran in Zahara de la Sierra, one of the white villages in Cadiz province, Andaulsia, Spain. Golden and cherub candelabras flank a relief of two angels kneeling on either side of a small crucifix. The initials JHS are a religious symbol for Jesus Christ, or a Christogram. The Chapel was blessed and inaugurated in 1956.
