Description
Pictured are the ceilings of the Renaissance nave and transept, completed by Juan de Ochoa in 1607 in the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba in the Spanish region of Andalusia, Spain. The Great Mosque was constructed in 785 and converted to a Roman Catholic cathedral in 1286. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.
