Falun Dafa, St. Patrick's Day Parade Editorial Photo

A contingent from the Falun Dafa organization, also called Falun Gong, marches in the St. Patrick's Day parade, Vancouver, British Columbia. The procession travelled down Howe St., to a crowd of thousands, on Sunday March 18th, 2012. Falun Dafa is a Chinese spiritual movement that began in 1992, which situates itself within the Buddhist school. Since 1999, it has been outlawed in China as a cult. The international community has, in contrast, generally shown support for the group and found it to be wrongly suppressed.
