Garden bougainvillea is a showy shrub with a branched stem native to Brazil. In natural conditions, blooms all year round. Flower growers have recently paid attention to the plant, because it is quite difficult to care for it. Its tops are decorated with beautiful bracts, which are purple, white and orange. This liana with long branches reaches 10 meters in height, and indoor varieties are small in size and highly decorative. The flower got its name in honor of the French discoverer Louis Antoine de Bougainville.
