Title
Gentoo Penguin buried in snow, Antarctic Peninsula #240016622
Description
In early austral summer Gentoo penguins arrive to their nesting sites to breed. After courtship they lay their eggs on a pebble nest. Snow fall is at times heavy and might bury the penguins and their nests. As long as they can keep their heads above the snow they continue to incubate their eggs whilst waiting for the snow to melt.
