Engeln is a small village in the Eifel and now a part of Kempenich. The train station in Engeln is the hillside end of the Vulkan Express, former Brohltaleisenbahn, a narrow size regional railroad that is kept alive as a tourist railway. At Bahnhof Engeln the Geopark shows volcanic history in a funny way. In winter all of that is empty in the snow.
