Protesters gather on the streets on Toronto for a second week in opposition of COVID-19 measures and vaccine mandates enacted federally by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal minority government and provincially by Premier Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservative majority government. This protest comes after the province declared a state of emergency in relation to the ongoing blockades by Freedom Convoy Truckers, with Toronto police setting up road closures across the city.
