Almond blossoms with stamens in evidence #242333686
Description
Almond blossoms are white or pink in color. They have a diameter of about 5 cm and the petals and sepals are also 5 cm. On three verticils there are 40 stamens and a pistil with ovary, which has two embryonic sacs that contain 1 or 2 ovules each. The flowers of the almond tree are called hermaphrodites. It is a very long-lived plant, so over the years it ensures the production of considerable quantities of fruit.
