Description
Ahr is a small river in Germany. The river runs through the Eifel to the Rhine. The estuary is located between Sinzig and Kripp. Kripp is a part of Remagen and the place where the car ferry connects to Linz am Rhein. In 2021 the Ahr became famous because of the flood disaster in July. The bridge at the estuary is gone since that day. The whole Ahrmündung looks different now. These pictures show the area a month before the disaster.
