Hirschgarten Square #242361026
Description
Created between 1734 and 1740, the nowadays roughly 1.5-acres-wide Hirschgarten Square has faced a variety of usages through the centuries. Gaining its name from the red deer settled here for almost 40 years in the early period, the park had been the city`s first public green since 1780 and remains a popular leisure space to the day.
