Autumn Colours and Reflections at Yew Tree Tarn in the English Lake District National Park #242762560
Description
One of the most accessible tarns ââ¬â the road from Ambleside to Coniston goes right past it, with a small car park beside the tarn. The landowner, James Marshall, built a dam at the south end in the 1930ââ¬â¢s, and stocked the tarn with trout. Fishing for brown and rainbow trout is controlled by the Coniston and Torver Angling Association
