Batu Caves is particularly famous for the Sri Subramaniar Swamy Temple and the iconic Murugan Statue located at the foot of Batu Caves. The caves are considered to be one of the 10 holy hill abodes of Lord Murugan and people flock to this cave temple during Thaipusam to offer their prayers.
