Description
Walahar Dam is a dam located in Walahar, Klari, Karawang, West Java. This dam is one of the heritage buildings of the Dutch colonial era that still exists and stands firmly in Karawang. The Walahar Dam is used to regulate the discharge of the Ci Tarum river and irrigate the rice fields in Karawang Regency covering an area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹87,396 hectares. Walahar Dam forms a reservoir covering an area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹Ã± 15 hectares. This dam is bordered by Gintungkerta in the north, Anggadita in the west, Kutapuhaci in the south, and in the east by Cimahi.
