Description
Although the use of the term Doughboy is lost to history, it is used for the American infantry. Initially to honor those men, and woman, lost in service during WW1., it was later, and unfortunately had to add WW2. This monument is in Doughboy meadow in Golden Gate Park along JFK drive, just west of the Rose Garden.As seen 17 March 2022.
