Pictured is the information plaque for`Saddle Your Own Horse`, a mosaic mural in the Anne Walton Cowgirl Park at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas. The mural was created by Evergreen and the artisans of the Mellini family in Italy. This artwork of a tooled western saddle is constructed with tens of thousands of small pieces of glass, painstakingly hand-placed to create the mosaic. The title was inspired by the words of 1997 National Cowgirl Museum Hall of Fame Honoree Connie Reeves who empowered generations to be responsible, to always `saddle your own horse`. The mural was declared in honor of Sasha C. Bass for her generosity and vision.
