The Plaza Mayor in Salamanca, from the 18th century, is located in the center of the city and forms an irregular supported quadrilateral, with three floors in each facade, chaired by the City Council. In the Royal Pavilion, the effigy of King Fernando III El Santo stands out and the medallions of the spandrels on its arches represent Spanish monarchs.
