Jasmine Flower Arrange (CLERODENDRUM CHINENSE) This plant is a shrub with a height of -1.5 m, has oval to elliptical leaves, large and green in color, smooth leaf surface and tapered ends. These flowers are arranged in groups with white petals. This flower is often grown as an ornamental plant and has a fast growth. The habitat and distribution of this flower is in the YAPEN Islands Regency. The parts used of this plant are leaves and stems. The method of use by the community and traditional healers in the YAPEN Islands is that the leaves and stems are cleaned and washed, after that they are dried and then ground or mashed using a mixture of virgin coconut oil. The benefit or use of this plant for the community is as a massage drug to treat sprains or even fractures. The pharmacological activity of this plant is that the whole plant is used to cure rheumatism, fever, hypertension, cough, wet lungs, skin diseases, muscle aches and dysentery. I took this photo at the location of the SANTA MONIKA KAIMANA pre-parish church, West Papua, when I visited there.
