Flappers were young libertine women in the 1920s who bobbed their hair and danced the Charleston in short dresses. Dresses and purses had beaded rows of fringe. These vintage beaded evening bags are part of the Esse Purse Museum`s permanent collection in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. Purses are displayed in different time periods with other items, events, and stories. Esse is one of only 2 such museums worldwide, the other is in Seoul, So. Korea.
