Description
This Tea tree, Lepospermum scoparium, gets its common name because Captain James Cook, during his voyages to Australia, used the leaves to make his tea. Many different types of bees, and wasps, including the Yellowjacket, Vespula vulgaris, visit the Tea tree for the pollen. As seen in the San Francisco Botanical Gardens of Golden Gate Park 30 March 2022.
