The Brigham Young University satellite campus on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem, Israel, boasts an enormous Marcuss pipe organ, the largest such instrument in the Middle East. It came from Denmark and is work about $500,000. The instrument boasts 3,165 pipes, including horizontal trumpets. The campus opened in 1989. This image was made on July 7, 1996. The main campus of the university is in Provo, Utah, and the institution has several campuses throughout the world.
