Lugou Bridge, also known as Lugou Bridge, is located in Yongding River, Fengtai District, Beijing. It is named after crossing Lugou River & x28;i.e. Yongding River& x29;. It is an existing ancient stone arch bridge in Beijing.Lugou bridge was built in June of the 29th year of Jin Dading & x28;the 16th year of Chunxi in the Southern Song Dynasty, 1189& x29; In 1961, Lugou bridge was announced as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units In 1985, Lugouqiao was officially retired In 1991, Lugou Bridge realized closed management.Lugou bridge is 266.5 meters long and 7.5 meters wide. The wild goose wing bridge deck on both sides of the bridge is in a bell mouth shape. On July 7, 1937, Japan launched a full-scale war of aggression against China here, which was known as the & x22;Lugouqiao Incident& x22; & x28;also known as the & x22;July 7 Incident& x22;& x29;. The Chinese Anti Japanese army fired the first shot of the all-round Anti Japanese war at Lugouqiao.
