The River Brue originates in the parish of Brewham in Somerset, England, and reaches the sea some 50 kilometres west at Burnham-on-Sea. It flows through the Somerset Levels, an area of wetlands which is the largest area of lowland wet grassland and wetland habitats in Britain covering 35,000 hectares.
