Description
The tree grows up to 20 m, its branches begin to grow close to the base of the trunk. It is distinguished by felt-pubescent yellow-gray young twigs. Its bark contains a cork layer. Cork oak leaves are leathery, evergreen, petiolate, oval in shape, 30-70 mm long. The leaf blades are whole-edged or finely toothed, glossy green on top, gray-hairy on the bottom.
