Singer, bandleader, musician composer, songwriter, and actor, Bobby Vinton, sings his pop hits from his heyday in the 1960s and 70s at ChicagoFest at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois on August 2, 1981. Vinton`s father was Lithuanian and his mother Polish. He became known as `The Polish Prince.` Among his biggest hit pop singles were, ``Blue Velvet,` `Roses are Red,` `Mr. Lonely,` and `Sealed with a Kiss.` A major teen hearthrob, he was a mainstay on the Billboard hot 100 records list. His career was extended by over a decade, into the early 2000s by his booming popularity popularity in the country music center of Branson, Missouri.
