Film, television, and stage actor Ray Liotta emerges from a Broadway theater to meet fans in Manhattan on May 23, 2004. `The production was a dramatic comedy called `Match,` and Liotta`s castmates included Jane Adams and Frank Langella. Liotta had a productive film career. He played the role of mobster `Henry Hill.` in `Goodfellas.` Liotta was known for his stellar work playing the role of `Shoeless Joe Jackson` in `Field of Dreams,` and, in `The Many Saints of Newark,` he played 2 roles, that of `Hollywood Dick` Molisanti` and his brother `Sal `Sally` Moplisanti.` Liotta was born in Newark, NJ, and was an adopted child. He died at 67, in his sleep on May, 26, 2022 in the Dominican Republic, where he was preparing for an upcoming movie role.
