Sitty Kamnik #248375821
Description
In the 10th century, settlements in northern Italy were attacked by Huns, Avars and Ogres along ancient Roman roads. At that time, even in this part of Europe, feudal lords wanted to protect themselves from attacks. In these places they did this by building a castle on a high rock above the valley, today it is the Little Castle. And after this rock, the castle is supposed to get its name - Kamnik. Later, the dangers of incursions passed, merchants and craftsmen settled at the foot of the mountain, and the place retained the same name as the castle.
