The Thimbleberry, Rubus parviflorus, can grow a berry very much like the raspberry, but unfortunately it is too soft of a fruit for a true commercial market.The native Americans of the northwestern region have a host of traditional medicines made from different parts. However, there is no scientific evidence that any of it works.On the other hand, besides being a good landscaping plant, the leaves can make good emergency toilet paper.As seen in the San Francisco Botanical Garden of Golden Gate Park 6 April 2022.
