Description
The Bukaka Reserve is a forest massif declared for the protection of the existing indigenous beech forest, composed of the Moesian beech species Fagus sylvatica ssp. Moesiaca. In its northern part also grow winter oak, hornbeam, hornbeam, maple, cer and other tree species. The undergrowth consists of hazel, hawthorn, rosehip, blackberry, sagebrush. The grass cover is represented by bluebell, buttercup, hollow fox, boy`s tear, Peter`s cross, spring boturche.
