The Confucius Temple in Quzhou was built by the 48th Sun Yan of Confucius in the early Southern Song Dynasty, led by his clan, Gaozong Zhao Gounan. Song Baoyou first year (1253) was built, Ming Zhengde 15 years (1520) moved to the current site, successive dynasties repaired many times. In 1998, it was completely renovated and opened to the public as Quzhou History Museum. The main building has Toumen, Dacheng Gate, Dacheng Hall, East and West, Silu Pavilion, Shengze Building and so on. This chime is located in Dacheng Hall, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China.A large percussion instrument of the Han nationality in ancient China, the chime rose in the Zhou Dynasty and flourished in the Spring and Autumn period and the warring States period to the Qin and Han dynasties. China is the first country to make and use music clocks. It is made of bronze and is made of flat round bells of different sizes arranged in order of pitch and suspended on a huge clock rack. It strikes the bronze bell with a T-shaped wooden hammer and a long rod, respectively, and can produce different musical sounds.
