Somma Lombardo or simply Somma is a town in the Po valley, province of Varese, Italy. The Basilica of S. Agnese 1665 AD was built on the previous fifteenth century church, the building is a manifestation of Baroque Lombard architecture and houses inside valuable paintings and frescos among the most representative of the seventeenth-century artistic culture.
