Country cottage in Grin Low woods. Grin Low is a woodland plantation commissioned by the Duke of Devonshire in the early 19th century. Much of the surrounding area near to Buxton is quarried for lime, so the woods were a way to prevent these eyesores detracting the natural beauty of Buxton.
