Monarch Butterfly Positioned So They Are Looking Right At Me In The Meadow Stock Photography

This beautiful butterfly really seems to love the purple coneflowers in this wildflower field. When he saw me, he did not even attempt to leave. He just positioned himself so he could watch me and make sure I was of no danger. Seems to me like monarch season is in full bloom right now. I sat here for a bit watching these beautiful creatures help to pollinate each flower fluttering from area to area. I really love the colors of these guys with their orange and black patterned wings along with their white dots on their body. This picture was taken in the East Coventry township nature preserve outside of Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
