Neighborhoods change and businesses change the times change too. 1398 Haight Street at Masonic was originally a grocery store, when the building was put up in 1903. The last, famous business of the location was The Drogstore, originally called Drugstore, in 1964. It wanted that name in keeping with local culture at the time, but the pharmacies objected too strongly. It even appeared in a cult movie about the Haight `Psych-out`.The outside at least has remained the same, as seen 9 June 2022.
