Description
Perennial wine, to about 5m long, usually climbing on bushes and trees. Stipules linear. Leaves compound, about 16-40 foliolate, leaflets predominantly oblong to elliptic, 5-30 mm long, 3-10mm wide. Inflorescences racemose, terminal or axillary, shorter than the leaves, flowers 9-12 mm long, petals pink to lavender or white, fruits 3-7 seeded. Seeds shining, 5-6 mm in diameter, rarely black, but most commonly red with a black spot.
