Description
Originally called Montgomery Avenue when first built in the 1870`s, but by 1909 a lot of the cities streets were being renamed. Since this Montgomery Avenue went right through the very heart of the Italian neighborhood of town, this too was renamed, to Columbus Avenue. The truly unique thing about this Columbus is how it shoots out at a diagonal through this part of the town.As seen 13 July 2022.
