Title
Hummingbird hawk moth visiting purple wild flower in a field #251781267
Description
This is my first year encountering these types of insects. They are the hummingbird hawk moth. Some know them only as hawk moths or sphinx moths. At first they almost look like a large bee. At closer look you can see her clear wings and fuzzy body. This little one is carefully working to gather food and helping to pollinate this flower. This picture was taken in the East Coventry township outside of Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
