Hallidie Building 130 Sutter Street San Francisco 3 #252139276
Description
The Hallidie Building by Willis Polk and opened in 1918, is named in honor of the man who pioneered the Cable Car, Andrew Hallidie. Since this building was commissioned by the Regents of the University of California, and their school colors are blue and gold, Polk used the Blue Gold color scheme for the exterior.Interestingly, the street level business part of the building actually predate the building itself. As seen 20 July 2022.
