Description
Ranmasu Uyana is a park in Sri Lanka containing the historical Magul Uyana (Royal Gardens). It is situated close to Isurumuni Vihara and Tissa Wewa within the historical sacred metropolis of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. It sits on about forty acres (16 ha), and is a cited instance of Sri Lankan garden architecture of the pre-Christian era. According to an inscription discovered in Vessagiriya, the water to the park become provided by means of Tessa Wewa after which released to rice fields around Isurumuni Vihara.
