The masked washerwoman Fluvicola nengeta, also known as washerwoman, noivinha, widow Zona da Mata mineira, white maria, maria-lencinho, bertolinha, dombinho-das-almas and senhorinha, is a South American passerine bird belonging to to the Tyranidae family. In some places in the Northeast, it is also known by the name of Lavadeira-de-Deus and Andorinha Ceará.It measures between 14.5 and 16 centimeters in length and weighs from 14 to 20 grams.Its coloration is mainly white, contrasting with a narrow black transocular band that ends in a slight downward curve just after the auricular region.
