Description
Pictured is a deteriorating sculpture in the northern portion of the Great Hypostyle Hall in the Precinct of Amon-Re in the Karnak temple complex near Luxor, Egypt. The roof, now fallen, was supported by 134 columns in 16 rows. It was built by Seti I and decoration of the southern wing was completed by the 19th Dynasty pharaoh, Ramesses II.
