The Anglo California bank was formed from the merger of an English and a French bank, operating in California, in San Francisco, during the early 20th Century. The Anglo Bank became Crocker Bank became Wells Fargo Bank. This is just the remaining shell of the original building, as seen 9 August 2022, at the intersection of Sutter and Sansome Streets .
