Pictured is a closeup of the central portion of a fresco south of the entrance door on the East wall in Nakht`s tomb TT52 in the Theban Necropolis near Luxor, Egypt. Nakht is pouring water on a pile of offerings and his wife Tawy is standing behind him. Nakht was an ancient Egyptian official who held the position of a scribe and astronomer of Amun, probably during the reign of Thutmose IV in the Eighteenth Dynasty.
