Description
Pictured is scene XIII on the bottom register of the North wall of the 2nd chamber of TT359, the Tomb of Inerkhau in Deir el-Medina. The deceased Inerkhau is seated in a chair holding the sekhem-sceptre in his left hand against his chest. Directly in front of him is a sem-priest wearing a panther skin. In his right hand is the 'weret hekau', a bent stick decorated with gold rings and ending in a ram's head, which is the ritual instrument for opening the mouth. Behind the priest in pairs are eight men.
