Pictured are tourists and the small Temple of Amun, the oldest structure in Medinet Habu, with it`s earliest foundations dating back to the 11th Dynasty circa 2100 BCE. Medinet Habu is an archeological locality situated near the foot of the Theban Hills on the West Bank of the River Nile opposite the modern city of Luxor, Egypt. The core of the present Temple of Amun dates to the 18th Dynasty, built by Hatshepsut and Thutmose III.
