Sagres seen from the Portuguese Cabo de Sao Vicente #254848062
Description
The Cape of Saint Vincent is the most southwesterly extremity of Europe. The jagged cliffs rise 60 meters from the ferocious seas. The dramatic landscape and breathtaking views make the cape one of the not-to-miss places in the Algarve. Sagres is the most southwestern point of the Algarve and continental Europe. For centuries, it was believed to be the most western part of the world. As such, Sagres was also known as the end of the world.
