Description
Founded in the early Yuan Dynasty. It was destroyed in the Mongol army massacre in 1213, and rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. Daci Pavilion has three floors and is 25m high. The 1st floor is dedicated to a wooden statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva with a thousand hands and a thousand eyes the 2nd floor is dedicated to the gilt bronze statue of Sakyamuni the 3rd floor was once used as a Buddhist scriptures pavilion.
