Airplane Vought F4U Corsair was an American fighter jet, on display at the Wings of a Dream Museum, São Carlos, #257286963
Description
Airplane Vought F4U Corsair was an American fighter aircraft, capable of operating on an aircraft carrier, which was used mainly in World War II and the Korean War. Demand for the model outstripped the Vought company's ability to manufacture it, causing many units to be produced by the Goodyear and Brewster factories. The total number of aircraft manufactured reached 12,571, spanning the longest production period of a piston fighter in the United States (1942-1953). Tam Museum or Wings of a Dream Museum, São Carlos, São Paulo, Brazil. September 2015.
